A demo from late 2024.

Single-point perspective. Rotating a cube in increments of 22.5 degrees.

Two-point perspective. Multiple rectangular prisms in varying positions in relation to viewer.

Older three-point perspective test I did.
I’ve studied the pelvis and ribcage so far, currently working on head → limbs → extremities such as fingers and toes → proper proportions for the body as a whole.

An older study of ribcages I did in late 2024.

Never finished the lineart and/or rendering, but the anatomy I deemed good enough.

Figure drawings I made a year or so ago.

These were drawn from reference photos.
Currently studying anatomy and proportions of the eyes.

I often mimic styles of other artists so I can get a better sense of what looks good to me and what’s the most comfortable for me to draw. The blocky-looking eyes were inspired by @NKNK_NGRMS’s art, and I found it as a quicker way to draw quick and clean-looking eyes.

I copy (but never trace) someone’s work if I want to figure out how they drew something. Art is a puzzle—only by taking it apart and understanding each minutia can I fully understand how it was made.

I don’t do this as often as I should anymore, but I wanted to try fully fleshing out a work. This was my attempt to draw a robot inspired by artist Arsi “Hakita” Patala and elements of the robots from Chappie (2017).
